Approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Council held on December 9, 2024. (Enclosure)
7. ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE
A APPROVAL FOR PAYMENT OF CITY CLAIMS
Council may wish to approve payment of Prepaid and Unpaid City Claims. (Enclosure)
B ORGANIZATIONAL RESOLUTION
Council may wish to approve the 2025 Organizational Resolution. (Enclosure)
*C 2024 AUDIT
Council may wish to authorize the Mayor and Finance Officer to sign the terms of engagement letter authorizing Brady Martz to provide audit services for the year ending December 31, 2024. (Enclosure)
*D APPROVE REIMBURSEMENT RESOLUTION
Council may wish to approve an annual resolution to preserve the right to be reimbursed through tax-exempt bonding. (Enclosure)
*E TAPROOM ON-SALE/BREWER/SMALL BREWER OFF-SALE/SUNDAY LICENSE RENEWAL
Council may wish to renew the Taproom On-Sale/Brewer/Small Brewer Off-Sale/Sunday Licenses for Goose Group, Inc. DBA Disgruntled Brewing, which expires January 31, 2025 contingent upon all fees and legal requirements being met as required by the City and State of Minnesota's Liquor Control Board. (Enclosure)
*F LOCAL BOARD OF REVIEW
Council may wish to schedule the Local Board of Review for Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Perham City Council Chambers. (Enclosure)
*G MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT/LAKES COUNTRY SERVICE COOPERATIVE
Council may wish to consider approving the renewal membership agreement for 2025 with Lakes Country Service Cooperative. (Enclosure)
*H SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
Council may wish to consider adopting a Supplemental Ordinance which includes Ordinances 435-438. (Enclosure)
*I ACCEPT DONATION
Council may wish to accept an $80.000.00 donation from Perham Area Youth Hockey Association. (Enclosure)
*J ACCEPT DONATION
Council may wish to accept a donation of $750.00 from St. Henry's for DARE books. (Enclosure)
*K 2025 BUDGET/PERHAM AREA COMMUNITY CENTER
Council may wish to consider approving the 2025 Budget for the Perham Area Community Center. (Enclosure)
*L ACCEPTANCE OF PERHAM AREA COMMUNITY CENTER'S FINANCIAL REPORTS
Council may wish to accept the PACC's Financial Reports. (Enclosure)
*M ACCEPTANCE OF THE CITY’S FINANCIAL REPORTS
Council may wish to accept the following reports: Cash Balance and Investment Summary, Budget Summary – Revenue and Expense, Enterprise Financials and the Utility Aging Report. (Enclosure)
8. LIBRARY
*A LIBRARY BOARD
On the recommendation of the Library Board, the Council may wish to approve the appointment of Cindy Mollins to another three (3) Year term. (Enclosure)
9. PARKS, PUBLIC WORKS AND PUBLIC SAFETY
A CITY ENGINEER MONTHLY UPDATE
City Engineer will give an update on various projects.
B APPROVE PURCHASE OF NATURAL GAS GENERATOR
Council may wish to approve the purchase of a new natural gas generator for the Emergency Services Building. (Enclosure)
*C APPROVE LEAK DETECTOR PURCHASE
Council may wish to approve the purchase of a new Gas-Trac natural gas leak detector. (Enclosure)
*D APPROVE TRUCK PURCHASE
Council may wish to approve the purchase of two new pick-ups for the Streets and Natural Gas Departments. (Enclosure)
*E APPROVE LIFT STATION PUMP PURCHASE
Council may wish to approve the purchase of two new pumps for the King Street Lift Station. (Enclosure)
10. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
A The Perham Rural Fire Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 15 at the Perham Fire Hall. A meal will be served at 6:30 pm; the meeting will follow at 7:00 pm
B The City Office will be closed on Monday, January 20 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
C The Committee of the Whole is scheduled for Wednesday, January 29 at 5:15 pm
D The next Regular Council Meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 10 @ 5:15 pm
